KNOWN WORK
Named after a Georgia O’Keeffe reflection on “making the unknown known,” Known Work was created to bring a longstanding design practice into public view. The studio’s first collection of furniture and objects was envisioned not simply as a product launch, but as the beginning of a cultural and creative identity.
Materia led the project from concept to launch, developing the strategic narrative, visual identity, website, campaign imagery, content strategy, and communications platform. The brand was introduced through a private dinner and exhibition during Art Week 2024, establishing a foundation for future growth while positioning the studio within a broader conversation around craft, art, and contemporary design.
