The México City live-work space of designer Brian Thoreen is a material playground — blocks of beeswax, copper, sheets of rubber, glycerin, blown glass and tar paper. He claims he has no favorites, just an excitement to find new ways for those materials to exist. Having physical space to experiment and work with his hands again was a catalyst for making México his new home. Brian reiterates how space and pace of life create the ideal environment for intention as a vital part of his creative practice.
In this behind the scenes short film, we take you inside Brian Thoreen’s light filled studio.
